Jack Brown


Jack Brown is an Army Veteran with over a decade of experience as a Peer Support Specialist. As the founder of Peer 2 Peer Whole Wellness, a peer-run organization, Jack has dedicated his life to supporting others on their journeys to recovery and wellness. He holds certifications as a Mental Health Peer Specialist (MHPS), Recovery Support Peer Specialist (RSPS), Re-entry Peer Specialist (RPS), and Peer Specialist Supervisor (PSS). He’s also a Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) facilitator.

Jack’s educational background includes an Associate of Science in Mental Health/Human Services and an Associate of Science in Mental Health/Substance Abuse Counseling. A passionate advocate for peer providers across Texas, he has accumulated extensive training that empowers him to live a life focused on self-care and advocacy. 

Frequently sought after as a speaker, Jack shares his personal experiences with substance use challenges, mental health struggles, and recovery from incarceration. He leverages his past to inspire and guide others, believing that living a life in recovery and demonstrating healing behavior is the key to ultimate freedom. Jack’s dedication to modeling a path of recovery illuminates the future for those he supports.
