Felicia Mason-Edwards

Felicia is a mother with lived experience raising a youth with a mental health diagnosis. She serves as the Manager for Workforce Development for Peer Supports and Recovery unit at the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC). In her role, she oversees peer curriculum development, stakeholder engagement, peer leadership transformation, and peer workforce capacity.

Her goal is to help systems learn how to work smarter, not harder and to partner better for the sake of children and families. And to unite all peers to become “One Band One Sound” advocating together for the community we serve.
