About POGA
The Peer Organization Growth Academy (POGA) was a one-time program developed to support peer-run organizations in Texas. The project and courses were made by peer-run organization leaders for peer-run organization leaders!
The program ran from December 2023 to August 2024. Although it was made for Texas organizations, we hope the information is useful to organizations everywhere.
POGA’s purpose was to enhance the knowledge and connections of peer-run organizations to facilitate the development of their organizational capacity to support growth and long-term sustainability.
The main goals of POGA were to:
- Provide knowledge to leaders of peer-run organizations to support them in building their organizations.
- Ensure peer-run organizational leaders lead/facilitate the peer-to-peer learning experiences.
- Support connections and networking among peer-run organizations across Texas.
